Community Profile

When trying to introduce friends to Dreamwidth, the founders of this community have noticed a lack of organized and beginner-friendly resources on how to use the site. We want to fix that.

- We intend to post and host beginner-friendly guides, as well as posts exploring DW features in depth for established users. Posts will center on technical features and Dreamwidth site culture.

- Most of our posts will be created by members of this community with the intent to be hosted here. If you'd like to post, feel free to join up! We always welcome new tips, tricks, & tutorials. Just try to keep it educational and on topic!

- We may also copy and host relevant content from other DW accounts or off-site accounts. If we have copied content from another user, site, or community, we will cite and link the source in the header of the post. We will also do our best to reach out to the creator of the original post for permission, but due to the nature of the Internet and DW's currently steep learning curve, many sources are defunct and may never reply. If you own a post that we have copied here and you would like it taken down, send a message to chemicalcain with the link, or comment on the post to request removal.
